If you haven’t read the article I wrote earlier on FormLabs Durable resin which I managed to get a hold of… you should read it. It goes into a great amount of detail with my experiences getting advice on resins from FormLabs and let’s just say, they set a very high standard of quality of customer service during my dealings with them.

Yeh, I’m going to make some videos on printing and using FormLabs Rigid 10K Resin. A friend of mine and I plan to test Rigid 10K in an industrial environment as a prototyping replacement for aluminum for low impact applications. We do not expect Rigid 10K to replace aluminum, but based on the sample I received from FormLabs, we have decided that it could be the best material we have ever encountered.

I’ll start printing and as the prints come, I’ll make some really ad-hoc videos that I’ll post to YouTube. We’ll start off slow and move up from there.

I’m getting chills just thinking of how amazing this stuff is. :)
